Hai this is Murthy .....
I would like write about my araku trip with my friends.
We initially planed to go to araku by train because it takes us through 53 small tunnels which is very beautiful to watch especially if your going for the first time. However we could not go by train so managed to go by a car. We started singing songs while adoring the beauty of burra caves. In about 2 hours, although we did not realise it, we reached burra caves. A big sign board with name "BORRA CAVES" welcomed us.
Borra Caves |
As we walked through the beautiful caves we found breath taking hilly terrains and dazzling landscapes which are a feast to the eyes. We kept on walking for a few miles only to find ourselves in a little dark cave with a small perennial water flow. Besides enjoying this beauty we were shivering a bit as it was very cold inside the cave.
In Burra Caves |
We took photos of the caves while relishing their beauty. Suddenly rats were running in our stomachs so came out to have lunch although unwillingly. We had a delicious lunch at some of the small hotels. Then we headed towards katiki waterfalls which is must to see sight in Burra Caves. As soon as we heard the sounds of the water falling down, we ran towards it and jumped into the water and enjoyed swimming for sometime.
Kitiki Waterfall |
We started of early in the morning and reached dumbriguda chaaparai waterfall. The word beautiful is not enough to describe its beauty. As we walked along the water fall we were enthralled by the greenary sorrounding the water fall.

In the night we returned back to Vizag with beautiful memories and a little regret for not travelling through train.
